Berry Sport & Rec Centre, Saturday 27 May
Intrepid Landcare in partnership with Shoalhaven City Council and Shoalhaven Landcare Association is calling for young change-makers in the community aged 15 – 30 years old to step up and attend an awesome day filled with adventure, networking with like-minded young people, self-discovery and leadership development, and exploring what's possible for young people who want to see a better future for the local environment.
The New Ways Forward Forum will be facilitated by Intrepid Landcare co-founder and internationally recognised change-maker, Megan Rowlatt. Megan has been instrumental in designing and facilitating ground-breaking programs, and supporting young people around Australia to realise their potential to create the change that they want to see for themselves, the environment and their community.
Intrepid Landcare is empowering young people all over Australia to identify what's important, what's possible, and then create new ways for young people to do stuff that matters for their environment and community. Today, tribes of young people all over the country are coming up with creative project ideas which are tackling some of our toughest global issues. And the Shoalhaven is next!
The forum will give young people skills, inspiration and insights into how to create projects, turn their passions into reality and connect with key people who can support them in the community. Participants will also be treated to an adventurous cultural awareness hike up to Drawing Room Rocks.
