Dear Parent/Caregiver,
With the ongoing nature and uncertainty regarding COVID-19 we will be continuing with our early departure 1 afternoon a fortnight. Shoalhaven High School early departure will be on Thursdays every odd week, that is, Weeks 1,3,5,7 and 9.
School will finish at 1:35pm, the start of the short break. Students may leave at this time as it is the end of the school day. At the present time bus schedules remain the same, but we are working with the bus companies to arrange an early pick up for these students. Students remaining at school will be actively supervised in the playground or have access to the library for additional study. This arrangement will be in place for the remainder of 2020.
We urge all parents/caregivers to make the necessary arrangements. Please be reminded that for students who cannot leave early they will be supervised by staff at school until 2:46 when the buses arrive for normal transportation home.
We thank you for your support in this instance whilst we navigate the uncertainty that is COVID-19.
