Update for Parent/Carers - 30/03/2020

Thank you to all parents and carers who have so quickly responded to the challenges of moving to remote learning. For most students this is online learning is via Google Classroom and email, with some students working from book packs collected from the school. Book packs are being organised into 2 week blocks of work which must be collected from the school. Book packs are only being made for students who have requested them. All book pack work must be returned to the school on Wednesday 8th April for marking.

Most teachers have set up Google classrooms for all classes they teach and have ‘invited’ students to join the class. Students can simply log into google classrooms (with their user.name@education.nsw.gov.au account) and join the class. No class code is required if students join in this way. If a class is missing please phone the school on 4421 8022.

Students are expected to log on to each class at the time it would usually be on. All teachers have been asked to do the same. You will be asked by your teacher to indicate that you are present. You will be required to complete the work set and submit the work. If you require assistance you can ask the teacher for help.
Students are also required to check their email often.

If your child is having trouble logging on to Google Classroom or accessing their email please refer to the guides published on the school’s Facebook Feed, Schoolbag App and school website. If they still have a problem, call the school on 4421 8022. You will be directed to a member of staff who can assist.
