Dear Parent/Caregivers
Due to the HSC exams continuing this week and a lack of suitable venues in the school, we are going to have to cancel our scheduled whole school assembly for this Monday 23 October. As a result, we are switching period 6 with period 3. This means that students will be supervised in the playground for the duration of period 6 and not attend timetabled classes. This will also occur on Monday 6 and 20 November.
Parent/carers can arrange to collect their child from the school at 1:35pm by contacting the office and giving permission for an early departure. Permission can be given over the phone and the school will arrange for your child to be signed out early. Please see the procedure below for this afternoon:
- Due to lack of venues no assembly to be held today and students supervised in the playground from 1:35-2:46pm
- Parent/Carers can contact the school to give permission for their child to sign out of school at 1:35pm. Please ring the school prior to 1:35pm to allow time for the office to contact your child and arrange for them to be signed out.
- Students who have permission are to see the front office during long break to sign out and get their early departure slip. Students present their sign-out slip to the Principal/Deputy Principal on the school gates at 1:35pm
- Students who remain at school will be supervised by staff within the playground for the remainder of the day.
