Return to School
We all look forward to welcoming our students back to face to face teaching and learning in the coming weeks. When we do return it will be under level 3 PLUS school operations and the following will apply to students when we return to on-site learning in a staged way from the following dates:
Year 12 return 18/10/2021
Year 7-11 return 25/10/2021
Students will return in a managed manner to ensure we can minimise mingling of student cohort groups and movement around the school. Please see the link below for the full guidelines:
SHS will return in the following manner:
1. Years 7,8,11 will operate under the 3-2-1 period structure.
2. Years 9 and 10 and Support operate under the 2-2-2 period structure with long break first.
3. Year groups will be allocated a classroom within the school and remain in that classroom for most of their timetabled classes. Teachers will move around the school to attend class for their students thus minimising student movement. (Blocks and rooms below)
Year 7- A Block except for Tech and Visual Art
A7- 7K, A8- 7L, A10- 7M, A11- 7R, A12- 7S, C31- 7O
Year 8- C Block except for Tech and Visual Art
C13- 8K, C14- 8O, C15- 8L, C16- 8R, C17- 8S
Year 9- C Block
C24- 9K, C26- 9L, C27- 9O, C28- 9S, C29- 9R
Year 10- C Block
Lab 6 - 10-1, Lab 1 - 10-2, Lab 2 - 10.3, Lab 3 - 10.4
4. Year 9 and 10 will move to electives.
5. Year 11 will go to timetabled rooms except where their room is occupied by a junior class. In this instance they will relocate to a science lab. Please note you can make alternate arrangements if your normal room is not being used during your period
